Get ready, Panther Nation! On Friday, October 30, Murray-Massenburg Elementary will celebrate Storybook Character Day! This exciting celebration highlights the magic of reading and the wonderful characters, stories, and cultures represented in books from around the world. All students are expected to dress as a character from a favorite storybook and bring a copy of the book featuring that character. Throughout the day, our Panthers will have opportunities to showcase their creativity, share their favorite stories, and celebrate the joy of reading with classmates and teachers. Whether your Panther chooses a beloved fairy-tale character, a superhero from a favorite book, or an inspiring character from a culturally diverse story, we cannot wait to see these wonderful books come to life!

⭐ Important Storybook Character Day Reminders

• Dress as a storybook character: Students should come to school dressed as a character from a book.

• Bring the book: Every student should bring a copy of the book featuring their chosen character.

• School-appropriate costumes: Costumes must be appropriate for school and comfortable enough for students to participate in regular learning activities.

• Celebrate creativity: Families are encouraged to have fun and use their imaginations when creating costumes!

Our goal is to celebrate literacy, imagination, and the joy of reading!
