During halftime of Friday's homecoming game, our community honored and remembered former Riverside Pirate student and football player Steven Perry. Steven was a Riverside Pirate and later served as a North Carolina State Highway Patrol Master Trooper. He tragically lost his life earlier this year while serving and protecting the citizens of Durham County. As part of the recognition, we shared a slideshow honoring Steven, his service, and his legacy.

Shout-out to our senior student-athletes who were celebrated on Senior Night for cross country.

Shout-out to the men's basketball team for visiting with students at Eno Valley Elementary to share the importance of reading, learning, and believing in yourself. October is Clunteer Month for Riverside MBB and we believe being a student-athlet is about more than what happens on the court. It's about serving, leading and giving back to our community.
